About Us
An independent stewardship partner
Governance & Values GmbH was founded in 2018 by leading experts in corporate governance to support investors, intermediaries and issuers in fulfilling their fiduciary duties and fostering balanced, healthy and long-term value-enhancing governance practices.
In 2025, we extended our mission to reflect the evolving role of stewardship in long-term investing. As investors face increasingly complex and interconnected challenges, stewardship must move beyond individual engagements and compliance-driven processes towards a more strategic, effective and collaborative approach.
Today, Governance & Values helps investors navigate these challenges and shape the future of stewardship. We combine independent judgement, interdisciplinary expertise and practical experience to strengthen stewardship strategies, assess effectiveness, develop new approaches and translate ambition into action.
